Atoning Alabama is a FREE workshop series educating you on the parole and pardon hearing process in Alabama. Learn how to support incarcerated loved ones during hearings and navigate the complex parole and pardon systems. The workshops are strictly educational and do not provide legal services. We aim to make the process transparent, promote successful re-entry, and empower you through education. This event is free of cost and open to the public. No materials needed – just bring yourself.
We will be hosting our kick-off workshop on Saturday, August 16th in the Sheridan Heights Community Center. Timing TBA. There will be a speaking panel, a presentation, and light refreshments. For questions regarding this event, please contact ACLU of Alabama Paralegal, Nichelle Cunningham at [email protected].
Please register to attend. Childcare will be included as well.
