Join us for Atoning Alabama, a statewide initiative of the ACLU of Alabama designed to educate, engage, and mobilize communities around Alabama’s criminal legal system.

This all-day convening will focus on pardon and parole reform, followed by a community forum addressing concerns related to the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC), the Bureau of Pardons and Paroles, and the Joint Prison Oversight Committee. This convening blends policy expertise, legal advocacy, and lived experience to advance systemic reform and inform future advocacy, litigation, and legislative strategies.
