All Roads Lead to the South - Day of Action

The dismantling of the Voting Rights Act is a reminder that we have unfinished business. This fight is ours — and we are going to finish it. On Saturday, May 16, join Black Voters Matter, partners, faith leaders, organizers, and community members from across the South for All Roads Lead to the South — a National Day of Action for Voting Rights in Montgomery, Alabama. Together, we'll gather to honor the legacy of the movement and organize for what comes next. Voting Rights Advocacy Day

We're taking the fight for voting rights to the People’s House and we want YOU with us. Join us for Advocacy Day on April 1 at the Alabama State House. Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee

March with us in Selma! Members of ACLU of Alabama staff will be traveling to Selma, Alabama for the 61st Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee, and we are inviting you to ride with us. Round-trip transportation from Montgomery will be provided, but seating is limited. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, February 25th. Selma Jubilee Day of Service

Join us for a day of service in Selma and let's pour into the community that has given so much to Alabama! The ACLU of Alabama and JGS Construction are coming together for a day of service the day before the Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee. Join us on Saturday, March 7 to assist with home repair for a Foot Soldier in the Selma, AL community. If you plan to attend, we recommend: Wearing protective clothing, including long pants, work gloves, and sturdy, thick-soled shoes. JGS Construction will have some extra gloves as well. Bringing a face mask to protect yourself from dust and debris (ACLU of Alabama will provide face masks). Using sunscreen and insect repellant. Bringing water and snacks (ACLU of Alabama will be providing water and lunch) Round-trip transportation from Montgomery will be provided, but seating is limited.
