On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the Alabama Pro-Life Coalition will be introducing a bill to criminalize abortion. The full text of the bill has not been released yet, but reportedly, it will make it a crime to provide or aid someone in obtaining an abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest

E.J. Bradford’s parents, Bradford family attorney Ben Crump, the ACLU of Alabama, and Alabama NAACP sued the Attorney General of Alabama and Hoover Police Department for release of body cam footage regarding the tragic shooting of E.J. Bradford.

Last week, the Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall declined to prosecute the Hoover police department officer who shot and killed EJ Bradford. The Bradford family attorney Benjamin Crump, ACLU, ACLU of Alabama and NAACP of Alabama held a press conference this morning to announce next steps.
