Jane Doe v. Singleton
A pregnant inmate in Lauderdale County Jail wanted to get an abortion. The Sheriff and DA refused. We filed suit claiming that the refusal violated Jane Doe’s fundamental right to obtain an abortion and that the refusal further constituted cruel and unusual punishment.
