to intentionally adopt a policy or practice that limits or restricts the enforcement of federal immigration laws or that restricts its officers in the enforcement of state law.

SB 108 was introduced by Senator Orr on February 4, 2020. It was assigned to the Senate Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Development committee, where it was favorably passed out of committee on February 13, 2020. It has been sent to the Alabama House floor and is now pending House floor action.
