Selma Jubilee Day of Service

Join us for a day of service in Selma and let's pour into the community that has given so much to Alabama! The ACLU of Alabama and JGS Construction are coming together for a day of service the day before the Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee. Join us on Saturday, March 7 to assist with home repair for a Foot Soldier in the Selma, AL community. If you plan to attend, we recommend: Wearing protective clothing, including long pants, work gloves, and sturdy, thick-soled shoes. JGS Construction will have some extra gloves as well. Bringing a face mask to protect yourself from dust and debris (ACLU of Alabama will provide face masks). Using sunscreen and insect repellant. Bringing water and snacks (ACLU of Alabama will be providing water and lunch) Round-trip transportation from Montgomery will be provided, but seating is limited. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, February 25th. If you need any accommodations, please email [email protected].

March with us in Selma! Members of ACLU of Alabama staff will be traveling to Selma, Alabama for the 61st Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee, and we are inviting you to ride with us. Round-trip transportation from Montgomery will be provided, but seating is limited. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, February 25th.
