HB31 - Assistance To Voters With Disabilities

Background: This bill would allow a voter who is disabled, blind, or unable to read or write to designate an individual to deliver the voter's application for an absentee ballot to the absentee election manager.

Our Position: We support this bill. At the ACLU of Alabama, we believe that no matter how you need to vote, whether by mail or in person, it is your right to participate in the political process.
