In the wake of the country experiencing political unrest and superimposed threats to our rights and freedom, we are working collectively to build the state, region, and nation we want to see.
We are still seeing threats on our civil rights and civil liberties across our communities in 2020-2021, but what we have learned during these times is that the South is still ground zero, and we have much work to do, but that we must do it collectively.
When we support organizations engaged in the work of ensuring that the rights set forth in the Constitution are applicable to everyone, we are vocalizing out loud the type of Alabama we want for our future.
